时间

总觉得自己在与时间赛跑，但我却不懂得珍惜时间。时间过去了我不在乎，看着眼前的时间我更不加以理睬。也许我不明白时间的可贵，可我从妈妈脸上的皱纹看到未来的自己。

我听到了妈妈每一天对我说的每一句话，虽然我总假装没听到。她说：“今天的我没有像昨天那么有精神，身体发出抗议的简讯一天比一天大声。”看着她，听着她，我害怕，我不敢想象未来没有她的世界。说到这里，不知怎么，眼眶湿塔塔的。

我没有勇气对妈妈说出我对她的感谢-她把握带来这美好的世界，牺牲了许多把我带大。我想夸她那不放弃的精神，但是我太软弱了，对不起妈。

我想，在我离开这世界的那天，我还会记得我妈。但时间久了，这世界或许就会把她给忘了。这种残忍对我也不例外。我不是害怕被遗忘，而是害怕说byebye。

活在今天，我梦想能回到小时候。当时是那么无忧无虑，现在却天天害怕那我离开这世界的一天。还真是可笑，小的时候就盼望能长大做事，现在大了却惦记着小时候的自由自在。

眼前的时间有限，多么想把它化为永恒，你说呢？

Hi, forgive me for my dormant blogging activity. Haven't been into scrabble lately becos I have chosen to devote much of my time into my CCA. My competition is coming this 2nd April. Now, the video above is what I would be performing in front of many pressurizing eyes.

As you can see, he is good! You can see all the years of training has finally paid off for him.

Right at this moment, you must yearning to see me perform the stunts. Let me show you what I was like before the march holidays camp...SEE BELOW

Training was torturous during 10-12 March. I even sprained my ankle. This was what I was like with the spraint...

This means that I will not be playing in competitions for a while. My standard might have slid but I will probably catch up soon.

THE NEW YEAR!

Let us embrace 2008 by first reviewing each of our own goals for last year and wish for the better for the next.

My New Year Resolution for 2007 WAS

To get my GM title by end of this year
To get all As for my jc Subj
To maintain my relationship with my frens and family members.
I wish good health for my family and all those who know me( sometimes some ppl know me while i dont know them, esp the philippinoes in ISC)
I wish my shifu prosperity and safety during work.
I wish the scrabble scene in singapore wud involve more teens
I wish cheah wud get cheerier.
I wish Andy good luck in finding his girl.
I wish alpha will be happier without emotional probs.
The last wish for the year is that the wishes i made above will come thru

Hm, missed it by a star but I was quite amazed to have come this far! My rating was 1824 when I first made this wish. Current rating= 1902.
Well, it is harder than I think BBCEE is my current results. That is quite FAR from my target. Start mugging!!!
I got to know more frens now- including international ones too! Hm, need to work on my family ties though, need to spend more time away from sch for them.
Can't control that. Good wishes to them though:)
To think that Shifu is all smiles and haven gone to a hospital for major treatment means he must be quite safe:) But I must advise him for a med check-up the next time I meet him.
Involving more teens? Haven really been tracking but I did see more singaporean teens online though. They shud be entering rated comps!!!
I hope I am not causing Cheah more misery( I think he is still thinking about the 600 game:)
Wow, to think that this actually came true means that I can actually be a fortune teller! He was married before I knew it! Best blessings for Andy and his wife for 2008!
Alpha must be feeling better since he has already entered Jc life*evil grin*

Cos Way Fever

Phew, and I went through 1 whole week of scrabble in Johor Bahru. The 2 events namely the cause way scrabble challenge and World youth scrabble championships was a great success and i have safely returned to Singapore(away from the scarily expensive buffet meals served everyday!)

Haha, I did make a small profit overall after spending US100 and and RM1050 on registration fees and accommodation. More importantly, I managed to iron out my short comings in both tournaments.

In the premier category, i had to play with amazing people like odette, nigel and panupol just to name a few. Facing these biggies throughout the 2 and a half days tournament isn't a cakewalk. I would like to thank these people for allowing me to learn much more since my last graduation at JGCC. It's amazing how the thai players think and how other people can play so well. I also admire the sportmanship displayed by all players. I have realized how my inferior word power is of no match for these world champions and I seriously need to do something about it.

WYSC is fun. I recognized how delicate my skills are in face of luck. I gave away 3 of my worst losses, without any chance of retaliation.

Congrats to Weibin, sean chung and suanne for finishing ahead of me. Not forgetting all those who finished in the top 20, eventhough many of which deserve a better placing. The WYSC next year will no longer be dominated by Singapore unless some enthusiasts turn up. The youngsters of yesterday will now vie for the premier category of COSWAY next year and also WSC 2009. I will try my best too:)

Sigh, still not much progress on hols assignment...
Going OBS tmr and my bag has been packed to the brim. I wonder if I can survive this 9 days- the longest camp I've ever had. Anyway, I will be back on the 22nd, Don't miss me :)

Nowadays spending too much time in front of the comp and slacking lah! Hm, I better do something about sch work.

Speaking about scrabble, I spent 2 nights analyzing WSC games with GH. Happened to find out that Adam Logan do think like Quackle and that's probably how he won his games. Congrats to Nigel Richards who won. A commendable performance by Suanne who literally bulldozed her way through to attain the 12th position. Well done Hubert, clinching 7th! I hope some trio will help get the 4th spot for us soon. ..

Getting a bighead nowadays, I think my homework schedule is completely out. Somehow I just cant get myself to sit in front of my table, in front of the pile of homework and start doing! Even so, i have completed the part on Bio and one tutorial of the maths pile. I think I would really need to hurry before the OBS and Scrabble tourneys set in.

Yup, went to Yen nee's on Saturday and had a day full of Gin Rummy, various card games and of course Scrabble. Obviously not much talent in Gin Rummy since the jokers seem to shun me and I even fold on the first hand. I think i will just stick to Scrabble for the time being. Many were waiting for Li Wei to arrive but he did not. Well, but the fun is definitely there even without Li Wei.

Just when we were about to go off, Yen, Ball, Elmo, Gh, Wb and I starting a little discussion on who is going for the upcoming tourneys. Well, thomsons' definitely out for me since i have OBS from 14-22nd NOV. Yen was introducing the deal of joining Yew Tee as a player or as a Tournament director. There are of course certain pros and cons accompanying both choices.

As a player in div A, I can:
1. Practise for Cuzway and WYSC
2. Get a chance of winning $300 shopping vouchers + trophy
3. Get a rating boost to the 1990s (Not really an issue at the moment)

As a TD, I can:
1. Hitch a ride back and fro from Yew Tee
2. Get a help-out fee of $50
3. Scout around for words
4. Stone and relax while others will rack their brains with their racks
5. Free myself from paying $20 as participation fee (I need money for Cuzway reg. dearly!)

Hm, it seems to me that the TD devil is winning the angel. But somehow I cant decide.

I always feel this murderous intent left behind by those who thirst for this guy sitting in front of computer and telling the world about my life.

Well, i have not been updating my blog and that's pretty true as you can see from the date of the last entry. I've got a feeling that if i do not do something, some people are so going to kill me.

Ok, ever since i've stop blogging for a while, many things happened and they are exams, exams and exams!!! But now they are finally OVER!!! Isn't that great news?

This week marks the last for my exams for this year and the last few are Chinese and Project Work. Ok lah, Chinese wasn't that bad but it's going to be sad as that is probably the last time i am sitting for a Chinese Paper. For Project work, nothing's really a big deal since i have done something quite real live already. I hope i did conceal my nervousness under that mask during the presentation. I could feel my heart jumping up to my mouth. Anyway, that's done. YAY!!!

And right here i have quite a bit of homework. Hm, what do i have???
1. Maths- 4 tutorials: P&C, Maclaurin's series, appl of diff, system of linear eqns
- 3 promos paper:CJC, IJC and TJC
- AJC promos correction
2. Biology- 2 tutorials: stem cells and gene therapy, plant cloning
3. GP- redo Promo essay
4. Chem- 20 Qns on random topics for test when sch reopens
5.Econs- i dont know yet, on ivle by 16 nov

Eh, after listing them down, there's actually not much to do except only for maths lo.

I have gotten back my promos results: great improvement from mid year i guess:

Accomplishment(s): Hm, Ok. I got a high game of 621. Ranked 1st in The Serangoon Tournament. Qualified to play in WYSC and Cuz way premier.

Wish me luck for WYSC and Cuz way. I dont think i can come back from Johor mentally sound i think. You can see why because Causeway scrabble challenge is held from 30 Nov- 2 Dec and World Youth Scrabble Challenge is held from 4-6 Dec. I think i will need lots of piggy brain soup to prepare my brain cells for this grand battle. LOL :)
Well, there is a break on 3rd Dec as you can see. I think i will probably use that day to visit my classmate in Johor and say hi to his family or something haha.

Hey, this is my project for everyone. Those who have a heart to help the Autistic children in Singapore please do not only drop by this blog of mine, but ALSO at Junction 8 this SATURDAY,8 SEPT 2007 and SUNDAY, 9 Sept 2007!!!

This project is a combined effort among 5 students from RJC, HCJC and AJC. The planning for this event dates way back to February this year. You can see that we have put in much effort in planning. However, the success of this event does not depend on us but YOU!!!

Guilty, busy, tired, losing my hope in life...

Have been very busy in the past few weeks or months that i didn't manage to blog that often anymore. The recent Blogging problem has been getting onto my nerves, i suspect that it is same virus. But yet again, it is so potent that it somehow spread to the whole class (haha, perfect excuse to forgo weekly blogging assignments for a while). However, Mr Ong is as "clever" as us that he forced us to print out the entries and pass them to him instead. Hope that you guys do not get the same problem too.

Guilty that i have not been chatting about scrabble lately. Serious tight schedule disallow my trips to JGCC for a game or 2. It was like ages since I have talked to my Shifu. I dont think i should slack anymore. With the 10th Singapore Open scrabble championships on the list, i cant afford to slack liao. This event will be held in Teck Ghee CC on 26&27 May2007.
The COLLINS dictionary is indeed a hard nut to crack. Surpassing english rules and other craps, I would say that this new dictionary is indeed crappy. But at the end of the day, i am still going to know the words i resist to acknowledge.

I wonder what is my scrabble status right now:

Stagnation begins and never seems to stop. I hope it will be soon...

Have been working through tutorials night after nights and it dont seem to stop. I dont think it will ever stop, not until A levels is done. I have dropped by Athur's blog lately and was staring hard at his 21/30 achievement in his bio test (why cant i get that kind of score???). Before I knew it, I am already starting to curse the AJ's testing system. However, I think i really havent been studying hard lately. The only test that made me proud was the first Bio test whereby I passed (2/3 of the cohort failed lo). With a humble score of 19+4/40, I sweared that i would get an A next time. Ironically, the next bio test is on next tuesday and i havent really been preparing for it.

I like my CCA. Everybody gave me that stunned look when i mention what my CCA is. Now you are going to react the same too. My CCA is---- WUSHU. Unbelievably, I have taken a liking towards WUSHU as the people are extremely interesting and friendly. We have enjoyable chats during the otherwise dull stretches. We encouraged each other during our own trainings.
I am now learning the spear. Haha, with a relatively thin wooden stick beside me, there is no doubt some people might think that I am dancing some pole dance. This is indeed "pole dance", with a slight difficulty doing it. The sucky part of learning spear is that it is one of the 2 most hated event in the competition. Due to its complexity in strokes, it is one weapon that even a wushu exponent would shun. I have developed same blisters and BAk LU GUs on my forearm and leg bone. Instead of bringing talcum powder for trainings, i think i would better bring more plasters next time.
I really hope to learn more things in the future so that I can defend myself against touchy secondary classmates when i encounter them (rapists and paedophiles are on the loose lately too:)).

New School, New Chapter of life

I have been very busy with school lately and trying my best to adapt to the tough workload i forced upon myself. Now let's see what I am really busy with...

Subjects- I am now doing 4 H2 subjects- Bio, Chem, Maths, Econs(BCME). A tougher combi than the usual PCME I heard as Bio tends to adore muggers( or izzit the other way round?)
CCA- I am currently in WUSHU(unexpected?hehe). However, i am proposing to set up a new CCA- Scrabble Club.
Commitment N.o 1- Compony Pyknic. An external Project which requires much of my concern as converting scrabble into a charity event is never like a breeze.
Commitment N.o 2- NYAA GOLD. Still in the " hunting for activities" process. Should be able to carry continue it with time management.
Commitment N.o 3- Project Work. Still in Planning stage too. This is a very serious A level subject not to be underestimated. Would require lots of my attention.

I wonder if i can survive this 2 years or not...sigh...GOD BLESS ME...

'O' levels EvAlUaTiOn

Today is probably the weirdest day of my life. I went to JP to meet the rest of my classmates and then proceeded to sch 30 mins later. On my way to sch, rumours reverberated in my ears that the top scorer for 2007 (WWSS) has a score of 9 points. I was quite excited as this will be the record breaking score as a single digit score for O levels. Then I found out i was the one...

I didn't and couldn't believe it at first as everybody in westwood knows i suck at humanities. All my competitors had believed i wud fail my combined humanities and probably go for a poly. Then later, i heard that no one had gotten A1 for chem and my bio teacher came over to my face and demanded an answer for not getting A1 for bio. Then i started to wonder, how did i manage to score 9 points? The results were revealed shortly.

Mathematics :A1 From A1
Additional Mathematics :A1 From A1
Physics :B3 From A1
Chemistry :A2 From A1

Those bolden subjects were probably used to calculate L1R5. I am still amazed.

Even though I have slided for my Phys, chem and bio, who cares, i've improved to 9 pts!!!

NeW yEaR ReSoLuTiOn

Look, i haven been blogging for a long, long time. I wonder what has happened nowadays, my mind is in a whirl-haven been toking to cps frens, wonder if they have forgotten me, scrabble standard stagnant and disimproving..., life in AJC is fast and breath-taking, my personality changing without me consciously knowing it. What shud i do???

I have almost thrown the most of 2006 out of my sight but now what is going to happen next week is a nightmare- omg! it's the release of "o" levels results. It is not uncommon to see me fail my humanities even though i have gave my101 %. MAYBE, my 101%= 0.0101% in other schs. Now i think it is my prob, not the teachers... Anyway, my result slip is already with MOE and is prob in one of the most secretive safe, locked and enshrined for the big day. I wonder if i shud bring a dozen of toilet paper to sch on that day.(cheaper than tissue mah).

Joy told me that I am nominated for a prestigious award-The LKY scholar award. I am not even sure i am up to it or not. I heard that it is becuz of my effort in scrabble and my more outstanding sch results. However, whenever i look at my achievements in academy, i somehow feel inferior. My neck will turn mysteriously by itself into the category of Humanities. The nightmare of the Subject still haunts me every night- i hope i dont get them everynight for the rest of my life. I am indeed a pessimist.

Jc life is definitely different from sec life. There are lectures and tutorials. Addition to that this smart aleck u see here took up 2 CCAs- chinese chess and Wushu. I am currently having a time management prob and after much consideration, i chose not to turn up for one of the chess meeting. I am still contemplating betw JJC and AJC. Everything got to wait until the release of results. I may be forced to join a poly u know- now i am regretting what did i not keep the pesty poly letters in my mailbox.

The cross country last Friday was ok lah. Somehow i feel that the X-country in wwss is much better lo. Becuz i got to feel dizzy and weak. I somehow finished the run of 2.5km with almost no perspiration. The possibly good thing abt the event is that i drank 6 cups of milo after the run even though i had only 4 coupons- 2 original and picked 2 up on the run track. The most funny moment occurred during the prize giving presentation. My chem teacher once told me that the teachers in AJc are either very hardworking or they run faster than students after classes. Of course, we have identified that our maths tutorial teacher runs fast after lessons. Not only does she run fast, she packs up fast too. Abt 30 mins after the bell rings, the clig-clog, clig-clog sound from her heels wud be heard from afar. During the X-country, we joked abt her winning the 1st prize in staff race. Guess what, she got first lo. My whole class cheered in unison and all commented that she deserved to win the prize. Oops, speaking of her, i have yet finish her given assignment lah.

Chapt3 Post-Exam Syndrome

Yay! It's finally here. Today, 17/11/2006 spells the beginning of post exam period.
Throughout my last 2 weeks, I have looked forward for this very day to come and here it is, here i come!!!

As many of you may have known, the up and coming World Youth Scrabble Championship(WYSC) is just two more weeks away. However, i am making an early flight with Cheah, Chairman of scrabble association. The rest are only joining me about five days later. Becuz of the comp, i went to renew my passport in the morning then head on to sch to collect a digi-cam that mr Koh s.l lend me. I dropped by the library while waiting for him and helped Mdm Lau with the shelves! Then Mdm Lau and I had a good chat over N.S, teaching and other sch stuff. She also noticed that I wasn't quite looking at her when she was talking. I am suppose exchange glances with the other party. Ok, she taught me a few useful ways to carry messages across like making your sentences short and staring at the eyes. I went late to see my phys teacher but luckily there wasn't any punishment like copying the txt bk and doing squats... :> We explored the digicam and I took the chance to flaunt my "superb" photography skills( eh, there are actually ppl who say i take good pics hor...) Not realising the time, i rushed home and made a call to Arthur and gang whether they have dumped me ( I think i am the one who dumped them) for a movie. I hasted to Doby Ghaut as Arthur instructed and made quite a n.o of phone calls ( there goes my bill...sob...) But who knows, they were meeting me at Harbour Front which is like some 10 metres away lo... Okay, we went to the legendary Vivo city to buy the last minute ticket, hopefully to watch some nice movies like Deathnote or the Prestige. We settled for Casino Royale instead... so, the 4 hungry despos hunted for lunch and dined at one of the fast food restaurant( i can't rmb the name!!!) B4 we enter the cinema, we xplored the washroom and joked that they hada very interesting hand dryer- one that will for the user to say " Na, take my hand" ... About the movie, the plot is quite all right. what amazed and amused me was the incredible cat and dog scene whereby the 'dog' wud chase the 'cat'. Still wondering how come they can climb so high and jump so fast. As i was watching them, my heart was sinking right down( marcus may have noticed, wondering when they wud fall down from the crane.
About 50% of the movie is about kissing scenes(sins), me wondering when they wud stop it and the 3 ,obviously more "matured" guys beside me simply glue their eyes to the screen 7.5 metres away. The torture scene was indeed cruel and I shn't comment about it. I was feeling like, what the ... why did i watch this movie...
After the movie, we went to the book fair on a cruise docked at Vivo city. The bks are simply religious. I saw the dictionaries and almost all are Collins-branded. We got off the cruise by a springy staircase and took some pictures b4 we go home. Sigh, today is indeed a long day...

Chapt 2 New Experience

Sometimes i wonder if i am a sentimental fool- somehow I believe that everybody lives for a meaning, searching and growing all the time.

Sometimes i wished i can just chance upon that tiny pebble and put it into my pocket.

Sometimes i thought i can feel how people are feeling around me but i am so wrong.

Sometimes i see myself in the mirror, an ostentatious idiot.

Sometimes i hate myself to be so silly as a human.

Sometimes i wonder if it is just me or am i really different???

I consider myself as a moderate anime fan and I love to watch interesting animes such as Yu Yu Hakasho, Flame of Recca, Hellsing, Cardcaptor Sakura... and recently,
I 've just finished FruitBasket.

These Japanese cartoons are very addictive. I just allow myself to be engrossed in them for I simply admire how the producers come up with the ideal plot, storylines and atmospheres.
I tried to mirror these ideals into my essay
but sometimes they go the wrong way( probably it's just my language ability)

Through these little episodes, I've learnt about relationships(not BGR!!! lol!). Friendship is portrayed in most of the animes. I always believe how u treat others is very impt. Even if u are on the verge of being the next in the ostracism list,
I still think that being true to another is very vital towards having a good relation.

What i like about Fruit Basket is slightly different from the rest of the animes that i've watched. I simply love the flawless combination of great background music and the tear-stimulating storylines and of course the ending. It talks about how an ordinary girl steps into the boundary of a not-so-ordinary family. From there, she attempts to eradicate the darkness within the family history- filled with dark curses. The whole story will "toy" with your feelings and
u will experience what i have mentioned in no time.

It is truly a recommendation...

Chapt 1. About ME...

I dont think many of you know much about me. Let me give you a hint. Why do we have a life... Why dont u live like mine? Many things are happening concurrently, we do not have much time to take a peek on others life. I believe that if everybody were to live theirs like no other, no one will be ordinary.

I am always and is still fascinated by how biology transform us into who we are now. I still wince at the moment when I ask my bio teacher: why dont we have wings when so many of us wants to fly... Since mutation occur and if one were to try to fly everyday( by jumping off cliffs everyday and spreading our arms like a bird)... Somehow some part of my face slammed a "NEVER" into my face. But if we were to think again, why not?

My life is full of surprises- my scrabble career, my twist in my failing English sch grade, my friends, my life and my birth. I am always searching for my meaning in life...

From now on, i will try to diarise my everyday discoveries about this miracle of mine. Finding a different prospective of looking at life again...

At the Beginning

I bet alot of you must be wondering why i have a blog of my own. Well other than the emergency need to do something with the account name, I thought that it is rather cool to have a personal diary of my own. Other than the environmental aspect (paperless and inkless), it can publish my current situation as a human being. Now, i have to EMPHASIZE. Pls do not use my blog to stir up any racial conflict or any what-nots.
